July 2016 EB-5 Visa Bulletin Reveals No Change For Mainland China Applicants

U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs releases July 2016 EB-5 Visa Bulletin.

This July 2016 EB-5 Visa Bulletin reveals that there is no change in the cutoff date for Mainland China applicants. The cutoff is still February 15, 2014, for 5th category Non-Regional Center as well as 5th Category Regional Center applications.

According to the July 2016 EB-5 Visa Bulletin, Chinese EB-5 applicants who submitted their Form I-526 petition or their Form I-829 petition prior to February 15, 2014, are eligible to proceed with the EB-5 Program process. If submitting their I-526, applicants can schedule an interview with the Department of State and can receive their conditional visas. If submitting their I-829, applicants can apply for adjustment of status (unconditional visas).

Applicants from countries other than China, such as India or Mexico, remain designated "current", meaning that they may assemble and file applicants regardless of priority date.
